Some nights I walk, so I can think about things, about life, about me.
I look to the sky, I see no stars, just a few clouds and a lonely moon.
It reminds me of myself, always glowing, always there.
The moon has craters, from all of the obstacles in its way, but some how it manages to stay there.
The moon has been through the good and the bad. It has been explored and abandoned and still it is there.
Sometimes the moon is full, sometimes it is half, you may not always see it, but it is always there.
Its friend, Earth, is full of life and beauty and is always by its side.
The moon is always there to light up Earth when it is dark.
The moon is always there, waiting, I am the moon.
And someday, I will be the Sun.
